Because Stillness freediving is committed to quality courses and books dates in advance with low instructor-to-student ratios, we turn down other business opportunities on dates that we have previously committed to hosting certification courses, coaching sessions, virtual classes or other in-person classes.

Therefore, we are not able to issue refunds if you cancel. however, we can issue a credit on account (with administration fees) if you wish to reschedule your course date. in all cases, contact us immediately at: info@stillnessfreediving.com

The fees for rescheduling are as follows:

Student reschedule or cancellation

We do everything absolutely possible to avoid cancelling or postponing our courses because we love teaching and empowering students through freediving. as of this writing, we have never cancelled a course. however, it's of course possible due to occasional unpredictable weather, or third-party issues such as a boat having engine problems, or a confined-water area being closed. our policy regarding these issues is as follows:

Because stillness freediving books specific dates for your private solo/group course, no refunds or credits will be issued if you need to cancel a scheduled private course. We turn down other business opportunities on dates we are already committed to hosting training and courses of any kind, private or not.

more than 14 days' notice

YOU CAN MOVE TO ANOTHER COURSE DATE WITH ONLY A $75 ADMINISTRATION FEE. 

less than 14 days' notice

YOU CAN MOVE TO ANOTHER COURSE DATE WITH AN ADMINISTRATION FEE OF 20 PERCENT OF THE TOTAL COURSE COST. 

seven day's notice

YOU CAN MOVE TO ANOTHER COURSE DATE WITH AN ADMINISTRATION FEE OF 50 PERCENT OF THE TOTAL COURSE COST.

less than seven days' notice

YOU will LOSE YOUR FULL COURSE PAYMENT.

for students who are traveling/leaving hawaii

in the super highly unlikely event we have to cancel a course due to the above, any student who is traveling and will not still be in hawaii for the rescheduled course can contact us about a refund, or being switched to a future class in the event they will be returning to hawaii.

for all other students who do not fit the above

keep an eye on your email inbox for communications from Stillness freediving regarding the rescheduling of your course. though we have never had to cancel or reschedule a course, we will work our super best to make sure we reschedule the course on a date that works for all affected students in the event that it does happen.

If you need to reschedule the date of your private course and we can fill the original intended course date with other students, we will credit your deposit or full payment (whichever was completed) to the new/rescheduled date.

*with an additional administration fee as per the rescheduling/cancellation fees at the top of this page.

if it's not possible for us to fill your original intended date

if it's not possible for us to fill your original intended date with other students, then there will be no credit issued. This also applies if there are multiple members of your group needing to cancel/change. You are still responsible for providing stillness freediving with payment for each spot.

if doing a private group course, Make sure to discuss this with each member of your group.

thank you for respecting our policies

stillness freediving does their best to make sure there are never incomplete courses, but in the rare case it happens, there are no refunds. each student is different in terms of their comfort level and abilities, and although rare, it can happen that a student is unable to complete a course. stillness will offer extra days of diving at our convenience, based on our availability. students will be responsible for covering the costs of the boat on days outside of the original course dates if shore diving is not possible due to weather, swells, wind, etc. 

we will credit the course time and include students in future dates free of charge (except for boat fees) because we want our students to succeed and go further in their freediving adventures. if students are unable to make the dates, again, another opportunity for a future course will be offered.
